Title: Dutch Babies
Post by: MrsKK on April 03, 2011, 02:54:50 PM
Dutch Babies

6 eggs
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup milk
1/2 stick margarine or butter

Heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. While heating, put cake pan in oven with butter in the cake pan so that it is completely melted and the oven is hot.  Beat the eggs until completely blended, then beat in the flour and milk.  Pour into the cake pan and bake about 20-25 minutes until fluffy and browning on the edges. This expands into some really weird shapes!

Serve with maple syrup.  We eat this with sausage and applesauce for supper many nights.

thanks for the recipe Karen,  I hope to give it a try.   Though one thought, take that "M" word out of the recipe!  ;)
