Title: white belt in cheese making
Post by: drjillian on June 04, 2011, 10:09:10 PM
Hello All  :)

I am a dentist in Cleveland, OH and am a complete cheese newbie. I am very interested in the self sufficient arts; beer brewing, gardening, smoking meats, soap making, cheese making, etc.

I look forward to expanding my cheese making abilities through this excellent resource!

Currently I have successfully made whey ricotta and unsuccessfully attempted cream cheese. The adventure continues as I will be attempting cream cheese again tomorrow. We'll see how it goes  ;D

Hi Wayne.

I see you are a wine maker- very cool! I am getting ready to brew a batch of beer tomorrow but have never made wine. Do you make it in your home? Does it require much room? I would like to give wine making a try eventually. Where do you get your grapes? Wine grapes are delicious eaten off of the vine  :)

Howdy Doc, welcome to the forum! Wayne is being polite, you should see his videos of grape crushing (https://cheeseforum.org/forum/index.php/topic,5190.0.html) and pictures of his new tanks (https://cheeseforum.org/forum/index.php/topic,4428.0.html)!
