Title: drunken goat recipe?
Post by: dayflowr on June 06, 2011, 08:00:09 PM
Does anyone have a recipe for drunken goat? It is simply my favorite cheese and with an excess of goat's milk around right now I would love to give it a try.

Drunken Goat is easy. Just feed your goats lots of beer and the milk will come out with the right alcohol content. ;)

Hi,
Here is the link to the recipe I use for drunken goat or cabra al vino cheese. Instead of regular red one I use fortified wine...

There's also a recipe in '200 Cheeses' - that's the one I plan on trying this weekend.  My husband suggested I use Sailor's technique - he just wanted to see my goats drunk!
