Title: Torah Giving Day
Post by: Alex on June 09, 2011, 04:14:42 PM
A couple of days ago we celebrated the Torah Giving Day. Beyond the religious aspects, the feast is characterized by mainly diary and cheese based dishes. Our "contribution" to the expanded family meal was of course a variety of cheeses and fresh baked bread. Unfortunately, my "cave" went out of order about 3 months ago. The Italico and the Cam were aged in the regular fridge.
Enjoy the colaje.

Thanks Pam, yeah, we had a very good time.

Jade, not to worry, as we are a locust family almost everything has been "cleaned". Additional dishes were: 3 salads, plate of fresh veggies, 4 pies, 2 pastas, spinach filled blintzes... ???
For dessert : 1 cheese cake, Water melon filled with fresh fruit, pavlova, sweet cheese filled blintzes, ice cream... ???
All that was accompanied with soft drinks, wine, beer... ???

OMG, I'm getting sick just writing that. It was only one meal but the hosts enjoyed the leftovers.
