Title: Fridge at 128F

Now you ask why was my fridge at 128F, Did not know a fridge could go that high did you.
well we were attempting to tweek the thermometer inside the fridge. We got it down to 48F good but I wanted to go a little further. Now up untill this point we were unplugging it removing the thermometer housing turning the screw, putting everything back and plugging it in. We got lazy and left the housing off, no big deal. Except the light was attached to that housing so the light never went off.  Did not realize this till much later.  This totally messed with the temps so I gave up. turned the fridge to off on the dial and left it for two days, door closed.  When I opened it up 128F. took us a while to figure it out especially cause by now the light had burned out .  Good thing there was no cheese in there.

Ha, cooked cheese by light bulb!

Gues you've found another way to make thermophilic starter cheese . . .

Why don't you just buy a Ranco digital controller???

Well by adjusting the thermometer inside it costs nothing.

Reminds me of my easy bake oven!!
