Title: Temperature Controller for Electric Roaster/Cave
Post by: vacant3 on September 02, 2011, 11:48:31 PM
Hey there, for those of you using an electric roaster and considering a PID unit, or wanting to lock-in optimum temp for a cheese cave, I found this:

http://screwdecaf.cx/yatc.html (http://screwdecaf.cx/yatc.html)

$60 to assemble it yourself and $80 pre-assembled. I don't have one and don't use a roaster, but looks like it could work!

Or you could order an alternative (http://www.amazon.com/RANCO-ETC-111000-Digital-Temperature-Control/dp/B0015NV5BE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1315026905&sr=8-1) that may be a little less intimidating for those less electrically inclined.

I have one and it works wonderfully.
