Title: Hello from Brisbane, Australia
Post by: Juggler on September 09, 2011, 12:19:51 PM
Hi, have recently got into cheese making.  I did a short 4 hrs course on making cheese and I am hooked.  Currently have two Farmhouse cheddars maturing in my cheese cave.  And I have made a couple of Feta's and Mozzerellas aswell.

Can't wait to branch out to some other cheeses.

Hello Juggler, welcome!

I've been to Brisbane and Gold Coast and I think Snowy Mountains(?) once on holiday 12 years ago, great part of the world. Coincidentally I was recently contacted by an Aussie company to join them and move to Brisbane, haven't replied . . . yet. Assume house prices there are outrageous like Perth?

Have fun with your new hobby!

Welcome Juggler, I live in Armidale (just down the road really). John - house prices in Brisbane aren't as dreadful as in Perth, I doubt anywhere in Australia is as unaffordable as that delightful city. If you work in the mines, it's OK of course!
