Title: Happy Sunday from Brooklyn, NY!
Post by: LittleSeed on September 11, 2011, 04:03:23 PM
Hi there,
I've been falling more and more in love with cheese and cheesemaking over the past year. I've been getting my feet wet making mozzarella and other fresh cheeses over the past few months and am about to jump into aging. As of yesterday I am the proud owner of a $20 used dorm fridge that I am working on turning into my cave this afternoon - couldn't ask for a better Sunday project :)
I have a feeling I'll be using CheeseForum quite a bit from now on and look forward to meeting all of you!
Cheers,
Sweetbreads

Thank you all for the warm welcome! I've already found some great tips on working out the kinks in my tiny "cave-to-be" and will be back for more when I try making my first semi-hard cheese at the end of this week.

George13, I've been living in Williamsburg, Brooklyn for the past few years but I'm actually from Vermont. Regardless, I'm happy to represent BK - lots of fun stuff going on here in local and diy food!

Thanks again - see you in the forum!
