Title: Hush Puppies Making
Post by: Cheese Head on November 05, 2011, 12:11:32 PM
Just found these pictures on our camera card.

Hush Puppies are a very popular side dish at many Cajun & BBQ restaurants here in Houston Texas due to the strong Lousiana, Mississippi & Alabama influences (which became stronger after Hurricane Katrina in 2005).

They are basically oil deep fried balls of cornmeal, definitely not healthy, but oh so good (especially with shrimp)!

John, I think some fried okra would go nicely with that  :).  Yum.
