Title: Hello from NY!
Post by: iamgouda on November 16, 2011, 05:42:07 PM
Hi, I'm an amateur cheesemaker in Buffalo, NY.
I made cheese a few years ago when I had a cow, and thoroughly enjoyed the process and results.
I am just getting back into making cheese again, and am excited to find this forum.
I specialized in Gouda, but am hoping to widen my horizons now.
I hope I can learn from others and teach the little I know!

Awesome, all New Yorkers on board now?

Welcome! I am in NYC.  There are some great cheesemakers upstate NY and wonderful milk too.

Thank you!  It is nice to hear from other NY cheesemakers, and cheesemakers in general!    :D
It seems there aren't many in Western NY, though... :-\

Are any of you guys selling in any of the NYC greenmarkets?  Would love to check your cheeses and say hi

Sorry it's been so long - very busy this time of year. Yes, I'm really not far from them at all. You can check me out on my website www.humblehousegardens.com (http://www.humblehousegardens.com) if you'd like.

Very nice!  Do you have some of your lotions at Singer Farm's little store?  If so, I may have tried some of your lotion....and cheese... :)
