Hi, I'm an amateur cheesemaker in Buffalo, NY.
I made cheese a few years ago when I had a cow, and thoroughly enjoyed the process and results.
I am just getting back into making cheese again, and am excited to find this forum.
I specialized in Gouda, but am hoping to widen my horizons now.
I hope I can learn from others and teach the little I know!
welcome fellow New Yorker and welcome to the forum.
Hi goudacheese :)
Welcome to the forum GoudaCheese.
Awesome, all New Yorkers on board now?
Welcome! I am in NYC. There are some great cheesemakers upstate NY and wonderful milk too.
Hello and welcome!!
Hello and welcome from another New Yorker, lower Hudson Valley, goat's milk cheesemaker.
Thank you! It is nice to hear from other NY cheesemakers, and cheesemakers in general! :D
It seems there aren't many in Western NY, though... :-\
Are any of you guys selling in any of the NYC greenmarkets? Would love to check your cheeses and say hi
Hey goudacheese. I'm right next door in Niagara County.
Ah, nice! That is close by! Are you near Singer Farms? :)
Sorry it's been so long - very busy this time of year. Yes, I'm really not far from them at all. You can check me out on my website www.humblehousegardens.com (http://www.humblehousegardens.com) if you'd like.
Very nice! Do you have some of your lotions at Singer Farm's little store? If so, I may have tried some of your lotion....and cheese... :)
