Title: Greeting from the Philippines
Post by: alvinjohn on December 15, 2011, 10:59:32 AM
My name is Alvin John Osmena, and I live in Cebu City, Philippines.

I'm interested in learning what i can do with carabao and goat milk.

I have a small farm, and a few goats.  I dont have carabaos but they are just all over the locality and i may be able to buy some milk.

I'm more interested in making yoghurt for now as i want to consume it more i want cheese.  But my wife loves cheese so i would also like to make some for her.

Hello Alvin, welcome!

There's lots of ideas for making cheese with carabao (water buffalo), Mozzarella being the most famous or goat milk with Chevre being the most famous, have a look around the forum to find some ideas, also there is some info in our Wiki: Recommendations For New Cheese Makers (https://cheeseforum.org/articles/wiki-recommendations-for-new-cheese-makers/) article.
