Hi all,
I just joined the forum. I have just started making cheese a few months ago and decided to get serious (or semi serious).
I'm a research analyst at a large craftbrewery and have a ton of experience fermenting beer (duh) and I dig other fermentations such as Kimchee and saurkraut.
I look forward to learning about cheese making from all of you people and I will spend a bunch of time lurking to get the vibe of the forum before I start asking retarded NooB questions.
For whatever reason the forum didn't like my internet wide handle of MolBasser (the molecular biologist who bass fishes) so here I will be MolCheeser (the molecular biologist who makes cheese).
Cheers, and good cheese making!
MolCheeser
Welcome, neighbor! :)
Thanks. Drop by the brewery and I will show you around.

I've been meaning to go pay a visit for years. Working on building out the house, farm, and creamery right now, so hopefully this summer. What cheeses do you like to make?
I have no idea. I just started. Although I am attempting a hard cheddar like cheese this weekend.
I'm still shopping for my cheese cave.

Hi MolCheeser, welcome! I have no idea why you couldn't register as MolBasser.
I just changed your Username and Visible name to MolBasser, you should get an auto-email asking you to set up a new password, hope that's OK, I can switch back if like. Happy molecular fishing!
Thanks! the registration program had a problem with "ass" being in my name is what I think I remember.
Thanks for the change, I like to keep my internet forum handles the same so people who may know me from one forum will recognize me.
I don't know all the rules yet so I won't post a location to another forum that I hang out at, but it is a homebrewing forum. I can help people here with homebrew questions in the off topic area if they wish also.
And now, off to add some rennet to my latest attempt.
