I happened to be pondering the type of cheese I would make next and found myself wondering how much curd I could fit into my various molds. Having just acquired a couple new molds ("moulds" to you, Yoav :) ) through iratherfly (the Swiss-Cheddar mold), I had no idea what I could put in that mold.
So...out came the calculator. I decided to throw in the alternate version for those metric folks. Yes, I realize there are other molds/moulds/forms out there and that doesn't include the homemade versions. This is my small world. If you see a need in your world, you are welcome to download and add or delete as need be. Having some idea how much curd I can use helps me decide which direction to go in my cheese make.
The small Kadova was a little difficult to get an accurate measurement because of the netting and the rounded bottom. It's an estimate.
Edited to add Taleggio mould pic and updated dimensions and volumes sheet.

Thanks Boofer, that's a useful table.

I have 8 of those little 450 gram Baby goda kadovas they hold about a pound of cheese. Great for making Christmas gifts or multiple flavors of cheeses at the same time.
Many thanks for the table and pictures. I know it will be helpful to me.
Thanks Boofer. That was helpful.
What are the dimensions on the three in the first pic? I can not open the file.

It's an Excel spreadsheet. Do you need another file format? OpenDocument, perhaps?

You lose the spreadsheet capability but I'm happy to make it a pdf for you.

You have all sorts of useful stuff stored away! A cheese to you for the manna you've been showering down on us.
Why thank you, anut. I'm just trying to share any morsels of knowledge I stumble across as so many others do here. :)
