Hello all
I could use some direction on the best way to clean Kadova molds. There is a general thread from two years ago that discusses using a caustic/lye wash followed by an acid rinse but it was rather vague.
Doesn't anyone have any specific directions including source recommendations for any special chemicals if needed.
Thanks for the help
Chris

Thanks - this was very helpful. I finally got around to using the molds I got from you last year. Just wanted to know the best way to clean them.
A suggested approach is to clean in an alkaline detergent to remove solids, and then rinse in some type of sanitizing solution. You can use any type of cleaners available... such as oxyclean and then dip in bleach. You don't need to use lye.
The best way to clean Kadovas is to bring them down to the beach and drop kick them as far as you can into the ocean.
lolerskates. Sure it's not by using a trebuchet?
