My first Gruyere at 5 1/2 months

I see nothing but blankness

I tried attaching a small JPG image, using the Insert Image button  to my original message (no text). Obviously it did not work.

I tried again just now using the Attachments and other options button, but got an error message: "The attachments upload directory is not writable. Your attachment or avatar cannot be saved."

So cleared the attachment, and hoping someone can advise how to attach files successfully.

Unfortunately, the image function is broken here. Most of us have moved over to using image hosting servers (like Imgur) and then using the link in our posts, or tricks to include images in the posts.
