I made sourdough crackers, hope an external link is okay: https://tiabr.com/making-sourdough-crackers/

And raided my cheese drawer for these, now mostly more than a year old. From top, clockwise: My First Blue, Jarlsberg, Gorgonzola Piccante, Shropshire Blue, Ricotta Salata, Appenzeller.

The ricotta salata tastes exactly as it did a year ago!

We followed your recipe for the Sourdough Crackers.... We didn't have a rolling Pizza cutter, so we cut them up with an Ulu.... worked perfectly....

I don't think they will store for a week, however....  ::) .... MUCH too good to last that long, the Sourdough flavour really comes through....  8)

AC4U for sharing your recipe, they are AWESOME.... should be perfect for cleaning the palate between different cheeses.... ;)

Awesome. I'm always on the hunt for something to do with my Sour dough starter that doesn't go into the making of bread. Many thanks for the link. And a cheese from one baker to another.

Thanks soooooooooo much for the recipe.... They REALLY compliment the taste of cheese, without hiding it.... 8)

We have a four cheese tasting here on Saturday for my wife's birthday weekend (she'll be 60 on Monday).... and it's a challenge to make sure we still have some left for the weekend....  ::)

Uh, Ohhh.... We are in DEEP trouble now!....  :-[
I just discovered how great your Sourdough Crackers are in French Onion Soup....  :o .... WOW !!!!

I broke some up and tossed them in some spare broth Diane had left over (we are having it tonight with our own Emmental).... They didn't turn to mush like most crackers do, so when you bit into them you got a crunch, and a burst of sourdough flavour....  :o  8)

I am in AWE of how great they taste in soup.... and thinking of trying them in other varieties....  ;)

In trouble again!.... Our chocolate lab, Molly, has discovered how good the sourdough crackers are, and is now helping my wife, Diane, watch over them to remove them from the oven at the perfect moment....

From the looks of it, she is expecting to be rewarded for her vigilance.
