Hi All, I had a website put together yesterday as a tool in my job search. I'll be adding more content, but I hope you'll all stop bybrianackerly.com and check it out. If you've had my cheese from Ferns' Edge Goat Dairy or Pedrozo Dairy and Cheese Company, please leave a comment on the site. Thanks! If anyone has any suggestions for improvement, let me know here. It's a little bare at the moment, but I'll add more pictures and posts soon.

It is a brilliant Idea and a good start.  I hope it helps you in your search.

Best of luck

That's a pretty neat idea - good luck with that!

I hope that all goes well in your job search!  Which direction are you looking to head?

How do you mean, Clover? If I understand correctly, my answer would be that I'd like to work with a dairy or creamery that uses an artisanal approach, regardless of size. I enjoy what I've been doing with small dairies, but I would also enjoy larger companies, provided they aren't commodity producers. I enjoy the process and challenges of hand crafting the final product. I'll be concentrating on Northern California producers, but I also have my resume in at Rogue Creamery in Oregon. We moved back here to California to be closer to family only a year ago, and I'd hate to stray too far as it's important for my wife to remain close to home.

Oh, and if anyone would like to comment on the site about any help I've given, that would be much appreciated too (not to beg too much). I'm hoping to have as many comments as possible to flesh out my quality and character. The references area would be the best place to do that, but of course you could also comment on my post titled, "The Aspiring Cheesemaker," as that post is trying to direct people to, and make them aware of our great community here on the forum.
