Wayne, a thought about the 18" PVC.   I posted something in the "molds" section about this a week or so ago.  You might check with your local public utilities (think waterworks) dept.  They often have off-cuts and stuff like that and are more than happy to have you take away a piece (makes for good public-relations).  I can get up to about 18" here and I live in a small town.  Just a thought.  bill
