Chees Doff

Brand new aspiring cheese maker here, looking forward to getting elbow deep in curds. Nice to meet you all.

Welcome. I too am new here and have already found folks to be most helpful.

Welcome to our little community.

Many recent appearances from the UK. Wonder why the sudden inrush? Was his site featured somewhere?

@ MacGruff

Although there are resources for cheese making online, there is not a vast amount of material. Most of the material is commercially oriented and aimed at selling its own products in particular.

This site is independent, non-retailer oriented, has a good range of input worldwide from ordinary cheese makers and is easy enough to find using the normal seach engines.
It has been going for quite a while, it is searchable and has an interested international community, so what is not to like about that?

With the Internet covered on PC but also now on a range of portable devices I think there is altogether much that is bound to attract attention, even from 'the community across the pond'.  ;D

So, yup guys, CheeseForum.org is featured somewhere: - the World Wide Web, what better place??  :D

...also there is an awful, awful lot of very, very nice cheese made in the UK. We don't have a monopoly but we do have taste.

A tip of the cap to all of you, for whichever part of the land you are... or the whole world for that matter. It was just an observation given the sudden influx. You are all welcome.

Looking forward to you sharing your discoveries.

I've enjoyed some of the regional cheeses from your neck of the woods when I've had the opportunity to taste them. They are all good!

Apologies if I came across all harsh, MacGruff, that wasn't my intention. I'm equally pleased to have met you!!  :)
