I am coming to term with the thumb UP/DOWM feature.

Clever as I am! 

And by trying to understand I maybe have clicked a thumb down (hopefully a thumb up)  to some good poster, since I am allowed to thumb people apparently as I have more than 5 posts!

John, can you correct my mistake, please ? 

Hi michoutin, it's a simple system, some info here, you just have to wait a few seconds and then you can thumbs up (down) that person again.

I don't really believe in th thumbs down but there is no way in the software to switch that off.
