I was making my first cheese and got a little to much curd (or in dutch "wrongel") so I put some in a hoop and after it stiffed up I infected it with a Brie I bought in the supermarket. Now after three weeks it looks like this:

Should I eat this? Would I life? It smells like my feet. The dark spots are not as dark in real, only on the picture.

I try everything. I doubt it will hurt you, it might taste good.

If you don't want it, send it to me. ;D

Looks pretty good to me.

Yum, makes my mouth water.  Eat it!

"It smells like my feet."

Hilarious...but maybe you should shower more often :)

Sounds like a Camembert?  Epoisse?

I agree with the others, it looks great to me!

My mother's second cheese was a brie -- she thought it was failing, but I went over there last night and it was just kind of flat and moldy looking, but it tasted very nice.  We ate it!

I think I have to wait for another week, then I will try.

In France the bad smell is the eat it call !

We make washed rind cheeses that are divine !

At home we also always have home made colloidal silver so in case we have any poisoning we drink some and bingo ! But we never had to do that !

I'd say like the others "Go for it".   :)

Today my wive made onion-soup and home baked bread. I took a bottle of own-brewed Kölsch and couldn't wait anymore and took a piece. It tastes like Brie, I was surprised how good it tastes. Going to make more of it.

There you are !  :)

Can't you teleport a bit of it to the others on this thread, you selfish monster!  >:D
