Do I need to make my own? I can not find the size mold I want. I want one 6 x 6 I have one 8x8 and it is perfect for 8 gallons but a cheese that size does not fit into my vac sealer bag.
Maybe I need a different vac sealer. If I remember correctly someone on here was discussing making larger bags with theirs.

Debi talked about cutting and resealing to make larger bags. Search for it on the forum.

Let's ferment something!
Bread, beer, wine, cheese...it's all good.

All of my molds I made myself. It's waaaaay too expensive to buy one here in SA. My molds work just fine, and it cost me R8.00 instead of R600.00

I just made my own cheese harp as well & it works great!

Most molds are sized in metric so be sure to look for molds around 15cm.

This is from a newbie so you may need to take my inexperience into account... I use what I was shown on a course, two x 5-litre foodsafe plastic buckets. Drill some holes in one, and put your cheesecloth and curds into this one. Then the other one sits inside it and you can fill it with water for a light pressing such as fetta. Here is a pic of mine in action (total 15lbs weight so extra stuff stacked on top):

LOL! That's exactly what I use, exept mine has alot more holes in it.
