I'm a newbie cheese here, got an Italian cheese making kit from my teenage son after my successful attempt at a jalapeno & lime flavoured halloumi as I adored a NZ produced chilli & lime one. Which has followed on by ricotta and now mozarella over the weekend which was consumed on a home made pizza.
Looking forward to exploring this forum and learning lots on my cheese making journey.

cheers, Mo

Hello Mo in NZ, lots of friendly folks here and tonnes of info on Wiki pages and via Forum Search tool available in top right corner or an advanced Search tool via via top menu button.

Thanx for the welcome John. Did have a question you might be able to help me out on.  Have been hunting through the most obvious boards, but haven't been able how the "Cheeses:" tally is totalled for each user.  Is it something automatically updated or which the user can tally up themselves?

Cheers, Mo

Don't worry, you are not the first to ask this, it has nothing to do with how many cheeses you've made. It is the forum software's built in thumbs up/down system that is switched from default Kudos to Cheeses, you cannot give them to yourself, you can only give a Thumbs Up (a Cheese) to someone else for making a helpful post. the Thumbs Down button was removed as trouble makers wanted to play games. More and other similar Forum It info in the FAQs Board.

Good information here. Use the Search function at the top of the page. Ask questions...you will no doubt get lots of answers, recommendations, and suggestions.
