I didn't destem the majority of it and yield was low, but I still got 35 litres of juice, which is fine for me.  I also have 60 litres of must, which I just dosed with yeast last night.  I am going to have to start saving wine bottles!

Well I am curious to hear how this adventure turned out. How did the wine turn out? Did you end up planting \ starting any vines?

Well, it was good for cooking, but that's about it.  It was pretty rough stuff.  The red, in the end, developed a mould layer on top since I didn't get to bottling it all fast enough and I didn't put any oil on the top.

I've since moved, so no vines were planted.  Where I live now (on the beach) isn't the best place for growing because of the salt spray.  During winter we get some wild weather so only really salt tolerant plants end up surviving.

Thanks for the reply FRANCOIS. I have had a couple of adventures that did not turn out as I had hoped as well. Better luck next time, nothing ventured nothing gained.
