Howdy Nick, welcome to this forum.

I think you are our first Member located in Thailand, thus I've just added Thailand to our member locations sticky post in this Board and added Thailand to our Geographic Board in case you or anyone has any Thailand specific posts.

My family and I lived in Brunei for 5 years we had a 2 weeks vacation in Thailand @ 2000, probbaly changed a bunch since then. My wife would love to retire there, but too humid for me.

Hello Nick pleased to meet you!

Thailand,  man, I don't even want to think about the funky molds and critters that might inhabit your cheese cave.

I spend 3 years in the the PI, in and out of the various jungles around there.  Lots of "stuff" grows everywhere.

Good morning Nick and welcome to the forum.  What cheeses have you tried to make so far?

Cartierusm

Welcome, what kind of cheese are available there? Any local cheese we've never heard of?

UK? I guess you can try rice wine and stilton? ;D

kenjin

Hi everyone and thanks for the warm welcome. I get almost all variety's of cheese albeit imported mostly from NewZealand.. As far as I know there is no company manufacturing it in Thailand, its all imported! Thais don't like cheese much.. They prefer rotten fish. (I am not kidding) its called Bala.

wharris

It's all about controlled spoilage!
